 Requisites: A handheld fan, mosquito repellent, and raingear.

 Note: For some activities in cooler periods in a day, such as viewing stars or sunrise, it’s better to add an outdoor jacket and wear long pants.

1. Sunny, rainy, and foggy weather conditions may exist in the Huangshan Mountain in a day, and you’d better be mentally prepared for sudden changes of the weather.

2. For a more comfortable tour in Huangshan, you can consider enjoying outdoor sightseeing when the weather is not that scorching in a day. For example, you’re suggested to get up early to stroll in the Hongcun Ancient Village. There are fewer tourists at dawn, and you can admire quaint residences in a serene atmosphere. As the weather gets less sunbaked in the late afternoon, Bao's Family Garden and Tangyue Memorial Archway are good places to feel charm of plants and architecture. At sunny noon or on rainy days, you can choose to visit more indoor attractions, such as museums in the Tunxi Old Street.

3. In Chengkan Village, lotus flowers are still blooming and harvest season also begins. In this month, it’s highly possible to view delicate flowers in the lake, and also red, yellow, and orange crops sun-dried on the square.
