Datong Train Schedule

There are 2 train stations in Datong. Datong Railway Station has ordinary trains departing from/ arriving at Beijing, Xi’an, Taiyuan, Pingyao, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Yinchuan, Shenyang, Baotou, and Shijiazhuang. The railway station is only about 17 kilometers (11 miles) from Yungang Grottoes; passengers can take tourists bus line 603 to get there.

Located 12 km (7 miles) to city center, Datong South Railway Station is a train station in Datong - Xian rail line and Datong - Zhangjiakou rail line. Now, it operates high speed trains to/from Beijing, Pingyao, Xi’an, Taiyuan, Yuncheng, Zhangjiakou and other cities.
