Fuzhou South Railway Station

Fuzhou South Railway Station is about 14 miles (23 kilometers) from Fuzhou Railway Station, 17 miles (27 kilometers) from Fuzhou National Forest Park, 11 miles (17 kilometers) from Mt. Yu Scenic Area, Minjiang Park, Lin Zexu Memorial Hall and Zhuzifang Block.

Fuzhou South Train Station has a five-storey terminal building and two squares, the West and East Squares.
 3F: office area, VIP waiting area, boarding gates, hot drinking water, toilets
 2F: entrance/exit, waiting hall, boarding gates, ticket counter, hot drinking water, toilets, bookstore, supermarket, Mc Donald’s, shops, information desk
 1F: entrance/exit, ticket office, transfer area, left luggage offices, toilets
 -1F: parking lot, taxi stand, arrival and departure halls for metro line 1
 -2F: metro platform
 
 By city-bus: K2, 83, 124, 140, 155, 161, 167, 176, 305, 306, 309, 503, Changle 601
Passengers will arrive at the western side of the West Square. Upon arrival, those who have tickets in hand can use the escalators to reach the waiting hall on the second or third floor. For those without tickets, please go to the ticket office on the first floor to buy tickets first and then go to the waiting hall.

 By metro:
Take metro line 1 and get off at the South Railway Station. Leave from exit C or E to head for the station.

 By taxi:
If arriving by taxi, passengers will be dropped off at the taxi stand on the -1F.

 By airport shuttle bus:
Passengers who take airport shuttle bus from Changle International Airport will get off under the viaduct located to the right of the station.

Second Class Carriage

Upon arrival, passengers should go up to the second or third floor to find the boarding gates. Before checking in, they should read the tickets carefully to know where they should have their tickets checked. After checking in, follow the bilingual direction boards to the platforms.
 Arriving at the station, passengers will be led to exit on the first floor of the terminal building. Then they can follow the direction boards to find bus or taxi to leave.

 Leave by bus:
The bus terminal is located on the northern side of the West Square. Passengers can take buses from there to the downtown area or scenic sites in the city.

 Leave by metro:
After getting out from the west exit 1 or 2 of the station, follow the clear guiding signs to find the entry C or E of metro line 1. Then walk to -1F to take the metro.

 Leave by taxi:
Passengers need to go to the -1F of the terminal building to find the taxi stand. There are escalators for your convenience.

 Transportation to famous sites:
National Forest Park:
Take bus no.K2 and get off at Wangzhuang Station. Then change to bus no.328 to Forest Park Station.

 Mt. Yu Scenic Area:
Take bus no. 306 and get off at Wuyi Square Station. Then walk northward for about 60 yards (55 meters) to get there.

 Minjiang Park:
Take bus no. K2, 503 or 83, and get off at Shangsan Crossing (Shangsan Lukou) Station. Then take bus no. 42, and get off at Xindang Station. 

 Lin Zexu Memorial Hall:
Take bus no. K2, and get off at Wangzhuang Station. Then change to bus no. 16, get off at Wushan Crossing (Wushan Lukou) Station and keep walking around 550 yards (500 meters) toward north to get there.

 Zhuzifang Block:
Take bus no. K2, 503 or 83, and get off at Sanchajie New Village Station. Then change to bus no. 101 or 8, get off at Xianta Street Station and keep walking around 300 yards (274 meters) toward south to reach Jintai Road.

 Fuzhou Railway Station:
1. Take bus K2 and get off at its last stop; duration is about 70 minutes and ticket price is CNY 1.
2. Or passengers can just take a high speed train to get there; whose duration is 16 minutes and ticket fare is CNY 5.5 for a second class seat and CNY6.5 for a first class seat.

 Changle International Airport:
Take airport shuttle bus under the viaduct located to the right of the station. It departs every 35 minutes from 09:00 to 19:10. Bus fare is CNY 25. It takes around 60 minutes.
  Ticket Office:
Ticket office is located on the west side of first floor. Passengers can purchase, change and refund tickets there.

 Waiting Hall:
There are seven waiting areas in the station. The first six are located on the second floor while the seventh is on the third floor for VIP passengers. Free hot drinking water and wash rooms are provided in the waiting areas. Besides, there are some small shops and Mc Donald’s on the second floor. Passengers can buy food and local specialties there.

 Left Luggage:
Left luggage offices are located on the first floor of the terminal building. Passengers can deposit their luggage there at certain charge based on their luggage size. Generally, it should be no more than CNY 10 per piece per day. Meanwhile, they shouldn’t leave anything valuable there.

 Information Desk:
There is an information desk inside the waiting hall on the second floor. Passengers who have any problems can go there to seek help.
