How to Travel from Hong Kong to Shenzhen

Hong Kong and Shenzhen face each other across the Shenzhen River. The fastest way to travel from Hong Kong to Shenzhen is high speed train, which only takes around 20min with frequent departures daily. In addition, tourists can take MTR/subway or city bus to arrive at Luohu Port, Huanggang Port and Futian Port first, then pass the border and enter Shenzhen. Flexible buses have many departure and arrival stations in these two cities, which provides more choices for tourists. Direct ferries are also a feasible way, operating from HKIA Skypier to Shenzhen Fuyong Port and from HK Macau Ferry Terminal to Shenzhen Shekou Port. People can also take a taxi or hire a private car with the higher cost of CNY750 to 850 in general.
How to Travel between Shenzhen and Hong Kong

1. Fastest Way: Hong Kong – Shenzhen High Speed Trains – 20mins., CNY68 to CNY226

 From Hong Kong West Kowloon Railway Station: 07:00 to 22:50 every 10 to 15mins.

CNY204/226 for Business Class Seat, CNY109/120 for First Class Seat, CNY68/75 for second class seat

2. Cheapest Way: MTR or City Bus

Via Luohu Port
→ Take Hong Kong MTR East Rail Line or Bus No.73K to Lo Wu Station.
→ Follow the signs to reach Hong Kong Customs.
→ Get through customs and cross the border, then arrive at Shenzhen.

Via Futian Port
→ Take Hong Kong MTR East Rail Line or Bus No. B1/75 to Lok Ma Chau Station.
→ Follow the signs to Futian Port.
→ Clear the customs and cross the border to reach Shenzhen.

Via Huanggang Port:
Take a direct coach from Wan Chai/Prince Edward to Shenzhen Bao'an Airport. The bus will make a stop at Huanggang Port. Get off there and clear the Hong Kong Customs to reach Shenzhen.

what is covid protocol for indian passport tourist visit of 6 days in shenzen
fully vaccinated with Covishield astra-zeneca certificate plus confirmed hotel/airline reservations. We shall take RT-PCR tests as required on arrival. Do we need a Chinese tourist visa.
Have been in Shangai, and other cities since a few years. This visit is from Oct. 7 - 13, 2021
