Thank you for organizing our trip across China. We enjoyed it very much. We met many friendly people, guides and drivers. If I had to select one guide to award him/ her "best guide", I'd choose the Beijing guide - his knowledge about Chinese history was unbeatable, very impressive. The meals were very good. In general, there was too much food served - we could not eat everything... However, we had to learn that this is quite usual in China to serve too much - we're just not used to this, as in our culture, usually, much smaller portions are served. But as I mentioned, the food was excellent. Nothing to complain at all! We will come back! ... More

We had a great time. TCG Team and the way we were treated had very little room for improvement. One or two things may be looked at to stay ahead of the rest of the the worlds holiday providers:

One or two of the hotel rooms may be starting to be in need of a little tender care...all of the rooms were excellent, but I could see wear and tear becoming an issue over the next few years. This is just something to keep an eye on.
I was very happy with the guides and thought it would be good if you had an annual conference for them to award prizes for the guide with the highest approval rating over the year. Discussion of issues relating to each others experiences and a bit of training could also be included.
I see your organisation going far and being very successful over the years to come. I hope I will be able to come visit again and I hope that my friends (when I get them to go) enjoy the holiday as much as I did.

The entire tour was very well organized and exceeded our expectations (better than what we expected). The guides were very good. Especially job of Linda was challenging as she received us at airport and made us comfortable. Hence our first impression about your company became very good. Though the travel members were from different countries, she made us feel like a family. She also took good care of us till she saw us off at airport. More than a guide, we always felt that she was our good friend too. We were also happy to have experienced driver in each city during our whole journey even they didn't speak English well. Thank you to all and we will absolutely come back. ... More

    Dear Kelly,

It was so very nice to meet you in Xian and thank you for the gifts. You are a very nice young woman I just wanted to thank you for arranging our trip. I was a little nervous about booking and pre-paying the trip. But, your daily emails made me feel much more comfortable. You were very thorough and explained all aspects of the trip in your daily e-mails. I could not be more satisfied with your personal service and the service and tour provided by your company. It truly was more, much more, than I expected. Having worked in customer service, my entire working career, I can truly say you definitely delivered more than promised. So thank you once again, and will definitely plan our next trip with you. ... More

First of all I want to thank you very much, on my behalf and on behalf of my wife, all the people who contributed in the preparation and the making of this wonderful China tour.

All aspects of the tour were carried out as planned without delays and as expected. I recommend strongly to those who are planning to visit China to do it with Travel China Guide! Overall tour services including China hotels and restaurants were outstanding. I should mention in particular the Sheraton Hotel in Guilin.

With regards to restaurants we were impressed by the one where we had the best duck dinner we could remember and the variety of the dumplings we ate at the restaurant in Xian.

As to the guides all those who assisted us in the various destinations were friendly, courteous, efficient, and knowledgeable. The same for the drivers who were courteous and punctual. All the cars which we used throughout the tour were clean and spacious.

In brief everything went smoothly during the whole China travel and for sure I would recommend strongly the services of this team for visiting China.

We enjoyed touring four great cities tour in China. We like all accommodations, site visits and all guides. Beijing was the most valuable visit among all of the cities and most vibrant guide we got. All the foods are great and our group of 15 enjoyed them very much which meant clean up all the food at all time. :-)
    Excellent job!

We think that your arrangements are very well organized except one occasion. When we visited the Summer Palace in Beijing, we had only one hour to spend there which was much to short. About the meals that were served, we think that they were all of a very high quality all through the trip. About the a la carte meals, where we had to choose the dishes, we found that very hard and would have preferred not to do that. It's impossible to choose just one meal that we would recommend as we found most of our meals very good. All our guides were top class. Their English was overall very good and we had no major problem to understand any of them. Their knowledge was also excellent and they could answer all our questions without any problems. Only once, in Guilin, our guide however good in English and good knowledge, she seemed not very interested in having us as guests. But perhaps she just had a bad day. The cars were all of good quality, very clean and the drivers all had a good service attitude. We felt well taken care of and safe. As we have said, we are very pleased with all our guides but there are two guides who made our trip extra special and memorable. They are Maggie in Beijing and Tanya in Shanghai. They both were very considerate and we had a wonderful time together with them. They both made us feel at home and they have a big part in our wish to return to China again.
Our conclusions are that we feel very lucky to have found your website. All of your arrangements were perfect and made our trip to China very special and memorable. It also made us want to return. If we do you can be sure that we will let you arrange our trip again. We would also gladly recommend Travel China Guide to any of our friends.

My very sincere thanks for the service that TCG provided me during my journey. It was immensely helpful.
Including the breakfasts at the hotel, all meals were God-send. They all had an ample selection of dishes, both Western and Asian. The meals provided on the days sightseeing I had were also very tasty with different regional cuisines sampled. If I had to choose one I would probably choose the one in Shanghai but perhaps that's because it was the last one so it is fresh in my memory.
The guides were all excellent and very attentive but not overly so. They seemed to know just when to give you breathing room. The level of language was also excellent. There were very few misunderstood words. The level of knowledge was also excellent. Each could answer questions well out of the descriptions of the places were visiting. The cars were clean and the drivers careful. I was offered water or soft drinks each time.
The choice of hotels were generally well done. The one in Beijing was conveniently located which made up for the very small room. My only bad experience there was the attempt to charge me 42 RMB for a small bottle of water. The hotel in Xian was excellent all around. The hotel in Shanghai was excellent except for the rather run-down neighborhood it was in. It was the only hotel where I ate dinner because I didn't want to venture out into the surrounding area. Finally, the hotel in Guilin was adequate. The bed here was also very hard and no bottled water was provided. Otherwise the room and location were fine. There was a nice ambiance about the hotel.
I really can't point out one guide better than another. The four were all excellent. I especially appreciated the extra information they provided on where to find restaurants for dinner, how to get my next transportation, etc.
Certainly I'm more than happy to recommend your company to anyone I meet who is contemplating a trip to China or use your services myself if I have the opportunity to return.
