There are no direct flights between Hong Kong and Hefei and passengers need to make a transfer in Xiamen, Guilin, Shanghai or other cities, which means flights do not have many advantages over bullet trains in terms of duration. It should not be a problem. Metro line 1 ends at 10:40pm from South Station to Dadongmen, you and then change to line 2 to Sanxiaokou. Line 2 ends at Dadongmen at 11:02pm. The hotel is not far from exit B of Sanxiaokou stop.

Transfer in Guangzhou means to buy two tickets? Or one connecting ticket for both part?
If for two tickets, it means there will be two times service fee charged?

Thank you for your inquiry.
Since there is no direct train to Hefei, you need to buy two tickets instead, one for each trip. Our service fee is charged per ticket so there will be service fee charged for both tickets. Hope for your kind understanding.

15min is too limited unless you are very familiar with the station. It would be better to have about 30min between and you need to collect the paper ticket out for the second trip from Guangzhou to HK in Hefei in advance as well.
