One-Hundred-Li Azalea Belt Scenic Area is the most popular attractions in Guizhou in the middle of April, to marvel at the azalea flowers all over the mountains. Huangguoshu Waterfalls and Xiaoqikong in Libo are also charming even though it’s still in the dry season. Fanjing Mountain is also the top attractions in Guizhou, and Qianling Hill Park in Guiyang downtown is also welcomed to breathe fresh air. Zhaoxing Dong Village, Langde Miao Village, etc. are the most-visited for an ethnic culture exploration.
Furthermore, multiple ethnic groups celebrate their Double Third Festival on March 3rd on the traditional calendar. It often falls in April, except that at the end of March some years. It’s a chance to experience the ethnic culture and listening the folk songs, etc. However, it is a crowded period, especially in the southern and southwestern regions of Guizhou.
