Wanlong Ski Resort, Beijing

Beijing Wanlong Ski Resort is located in the southwest of Beijing, 22 kilometers (14 miles) from the city center. It is the only large-scale outdoor ski resort within Beijing downtown area. There are 9 different ski trails for different ski lovers. The ski resort also offers customers various ski equipment like skis, snowboard, cable car, conveyor belt for skiing and so on.
 

There are 3 beginner ski trails: Pan Long Trail, Ku Long Trail and Wo Long Trail. Pan long Trail is 6° ~ 8° in gradient, 160 meters (174 yards) in length and 70 meters (76 yards) in width. Ku Long Trail is 8° ~ 10° in gradient, 300 meter (328 yards) in length and 120 (131 yards) meters in width. Wo Long Trail is 4° ~ 6° in gradient, 60 meter (65 yards) in length and 30 meters (32 yards) in width.
 

2 intermediate ski trails in Wanlong Ski Resort are provided. One is called You Long Trail, which is 12 ~ 14° in gradient, 551 meters (602 yards) in length and 35 meters (38 yards) in width. The other is dubbed as Shen Long Trail, which is 10 ~ 12° in gradient, 584 meters (638 yards) in length and 150 meters (164 yards) in width.
 

One advanced ski trail is called Yun Long Trail. The gradient is 16 ~ 18°, the length is 560 meters (612 yards) and the width is 86 meters (94 yards). The other called Yue Long Trail has a gradient of 18-21°, a length of 260 meters (280 yards) and a width of 40 meters (440 yards).
 

One of the free coaching ski trails or Wo Long Trail is 4 ~ 6° in gradient, 60 meters (65 yards) in length and 30 meters (32 yards) in width. The other is 14 ~ 16° in gradient, 60 meters (65 yards) in length and 60 meters in width.
 

With a coverage of 6,200 square meters, the ski equipment hall offers skiers over 2,000 Salomon and Atomic skis, ski sticks, over 300 snowboards, snowshoes, snow wears, lockers, helmets, goggles, gloves and so on.

Wanlong Ski Resort has two restaurants: Shuanglong and Longjingxuan, they provide buffet breakfast and buffet dinner.

1. Take subway line 1 and get off at Babaoshan station, get out from Exit D and transfer to bus line 950 to get off at Bayi Shejichang station, then walk back for 50 meters (55 yards) and you can find the Wanlong Ski Resort.
2. Take subway line 1 and get off at Gucheng station, Exit from D and then transfer to bus line 327 or 385, get off at Bayi Shejichang station, go back for 50 meters and arrive at the ski resort.
