Xi'an to Wudangshan Train

There is no direct train running from Xi’an/ Xi’an North Railway Station to Wudangshan/ Wudangshan West Railway Station. 

Passengers often take a normal train from Xi’an to Shiyan, and then head to Wudang Mountains by bus. It takes about 8.5 hours in total and costs at least CNY 58.5 for a hard seat and a bus.

If the time table does not meet your schedule, you can transfer at Zhengzhou East Railway Station or Wuhan Railway Station for high speed trains with a total duration of about 6/ 8.5 hours.

 How to get to Wudang Mountains from Shiyan Railway Station
K2098 stops at Shiyan Railway Station. After getting off the train, walk to the South Square of the Railway Station to take city bus No.202, which will take passengers to Wudangshan scenic area directly. It takes about 1.5 hours at a cost of CNY 4.

  Only 1 Xi’an to Wudangshan nonstop flight flies daily. Passengers can take flight from Xi’an Xianyang International Airport to Wudangshan Airport. Taking more than 1 hour, the ticket price is about CNY 600 - 1,100.

 How to get to Wudang Mountains from Wudangshan Airport:
Passengers should walk north for about 200 meters (220 yards) to take bus 809 at Yejiayuan station and get off at Qingda Pharmacy, then walk southwest for 200 meters (220 yards) to transfer bus 202 and get off at parking lots of Wudang Mountains.
 3 coaches travel from Xi’an to Shiyan. Two coaches start at 9:30 am and 15:30 pm from Xi’an Coach Station, taking about 4.5 hours. The ticket price is CNY 129. The other one starts from Sanfuwan Coach Station at 12:30 pm taking about 6 hours. A single trip costs CNY 120. 

All of them arrive at Shiyan Passenger Transportation Center. Passengers can take city bus No.9 there and then transfer to No.202 to get to Wudang Mountains in about 1.5 hours.
 Xi’an – Shiyan High Speed Railway is under construction now. With a design running speed of 350 km/h (217 mph), the travel time between Xi’an and Shiyan will be shortened to about 1 hour when it is put into use in 2026, definitely bringing much convenience for passengers traveling between. 
 Without direct trains running from Xi’an to Wudangshan, passengers can choose other transportation options instead. 2 normal trains are available at Shiyan Railway Station, which depart at 01:15 and 01:28 respectively with a running time of about 5.5 hours.

1 flight also serves from Wudangshan Airport to Xi’an Xianyang International Airport everyday, taking about 1 hour with a price of CNY 300 - 1,200 for a economy class seat. 

Or you can take the connecting high speed train in Wuhan or Zhengzhou.
