Running Route between Hong Kong and Huizhou

The rail line between these two cities is composed of two parts, namely, Hong Kong – Shenzhen and Shenzhen – Huizhou.

Hong Kong – Shenzhen
It is one part of Guangzhou - Shenzhen - Hong Kong High Speed Railway with a distance of about 40 km (25 mi). The one station along the line is Futian Station.

Shenzhen – Huizhou
As a small component of Hangzhou – Fuzhou – Shenzhen High Speed Railway, its distance is around 56 km (34 mi). On the way lies Shenzhen Pingshan Station.

Other Transportation Mean between Hong Kong and Huizhou

Currently Hong Kong is directly connected with Huizhou by coaches. Many buses shuttle between these two places from 08:00 to 18:15 daily with an interval of 30 minutes at peak time. The ticket prices are different from each other due to the different pick-up points. Usually a single ticket costs CNY 80 (about HKD 87 ) and the duration for the trip is about 2.5 - 3 hours.

How far is this Huizhou South Station to Huizhou Station?

What is the most convenient way for transfer?

The two stations are very far from each other, maybe around 50km, one hour by car. There seems no direct bus service between, so taxi maybe the easiest one. The trip may costs around CNY150 to 200.

Huizhou South railway station to Hong Kong Airport

I want to know if I can transfer to the Hong Kong Airport express at West Kowloon. Thanks in advance...

You need to walk about 1km to Kowloon Station first and then you can change to Airport Express there.

You can consider a taxi to Huidong and then take high speed ride to Shenzhen North. Then use taxi or shuttle bus to the airport.

It is easier to use taxi directly, but the price would be high, maybe from CNY150 to 200. Except taxi, you can consider to take bus 13 to Huiyang Bus Station first and then take airport shuttle bus from there to airport. But it seems very few shuttle buses a day. If you are limited in time, it is better to use taxi.

Including HK West Kowloon, Huzhou South is the 5th stop on this line, but not all trains stop at each stopovers. Sometimes it can be the 4th or even the 3rd stops on appoint train.
