Beijing Daxing International Airport

Being built to release the burden of Capital International Airport, Beijing Daxing International Airport now operates over 220 air routes which take you to most of big cities in China and popular cities in the world. With four runways and over 80 boarding gates, its terminal building is the biggest one in the world.
 

Daxing Airport Location: between Lixian Town and Yufa Town of Daxing District, 53 kilometers (33 miles) south of Beijing city center. Daxing Airport is 46 kilometers (29 miles) to Tian'anmen Square, 67 kilometers (42 miles) to Beijing Capital Airport (PEK), 26 kilometers (16 miles) to Langfang City in Hebei Province.

Daxing airport shuttle buses run to central Beijing with a duration of 1.5h at an affordable price of CNY 35-50, among them two night lines to east and west Beijing operate from 23:00 – 05:00. 3 lines to Zhuozhou, Langfang and Baoding in Hebei Province are also in service. 
 

The intercity railway snakes from Daxing to Xiong’an passing through the West Railway Station. From Daxing Airport to Beijing West, the intercity railway operates 23 trains daily from 06:41 to 20:56, taking only half an hour at a cost of CNY 12-24 for a normal seat. The boarding site is on B1. 
 

Daxing Airport taxi stand, close to the arrival halls, is easy to find with no waiting queue normally.  Beijing taxies are priced by meter. A taxi stand service at the stand near international arrival hall is ready for passengers with language barrier. Note that if you arrive in wee hours, it may be hard to hail one.

E-hailing has become increasingly popular in China, and DiDi like Chinese Uber which supports MasterCard and VISA, works well here for foreign tourists and is usually more cost-effective than taxis. However, it may be a little bit crowded at pick-up points with many DiDi cars. The pick-up points are located in the parking building outside the terminal, relatively far from the arrival halls, so a taxi is obviously a better option for passengers with many luggage pieces.
