Day01 Arrival in Beijing
Welcome to China. When your international flight touches down at Beijing Airport, you will find our guide waiting for you outside the Arrival Hall of the airport with a big smile and warm greeting. Then we will transfer you to the hotel to have a good rest for the remaining time of the day. If you do not feel tired, you can walk around the hotel to explore the city a bit on your own.

Day02 Beijing

Your exciting private Beijing tour commences today. The first stop is Tiananmen Square. As the largest city square in the world, Tiananmen Square can hold millions of people for gathering. After passing through the square, you will reach the Forbidden City, the largest ancient palace complex in the world and also the place that 24 emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties lived in. Around noon, we specially arrange an a la carte lunch (valued at CNY150.00 per person and included in our price) at a notable local restaurant.

The afternoon journey will take you to the Summer Palace. It is a fantastic resort for visitors to admire the peaceful landscapes and magnificent architectures of the royal garden in China.

Day03 Beijing
When mentioning Beijing, Great Wall is no doubt a national key scenic spot and the first choice destination for tourists from all over the world. Today we will spend the whole morning visiting Badaling Great Wall, the most well-preserved section of the Great Wall. Standing on the wall, you will see the long wall under your feet go along with the mountain ranges, just like a huge dragon creeping on the undulations of the mountains. Lunch is not included. Our guide will happy to recommend you some proper restaurants around the site.

When driving back to downtown, you will have chance to watch and take pictures of the Bird's Nest and Water Cube from a distance. Round off today's sightseeing with a visit to the Temple of Heaven, which was built for the emperors to worship the heaven in ancient times.

Day04 Beijing - Lhasa
Monks in Sera Monastery, Lhasa
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and take an early morning flight to Lhasa. Our guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. The whole afternoon is left free for you. Please make sure to have a good rest at the hotel to adapt to the high altitude and get ready for the upcoming Tibet tours tomorrow.

Day05 Lhasa
We arrange the Tibet Museum this morning. Including more than 30,000 pieces of exhibits, this museum is the treasure house of Tibetan cultural relics and a gem of Tibetan civilization. Besides, the cultural gallery, handicraft shop and other service facilities make it a good place to relax while visiting the exhibitions. Lunch is served at a decent local restaurant.

In the afternoon, we will come to visit the Sera Monastery and the Norbulingka Park. The activity of sutra-debating among monks in Sera Monastery is a unique phenomenon in monasteries in Tibet that attract many visitors to come and watch. Afterwards, you will go to the Norbulingka Park to have a peaceful walk and experience the Tibetan culture.

Day06 Lhasa
Jokhang Temple
We will focus on exploring the magnificent Potala Palace in the morning. The palace is the essence of Tibetan ancient architecture and the treasure room of art in Tibet. Visitors who go around in it will amazingly find that the delicate frescos and embossments are covered on the walls in all palaces, corridors and halls.

After having a palatable lunch, we proceed to visit the Jokhang Temple, a large architectural complex composed of halls built in different dynasties. Then turn to the bustling bazaar of the Barkhor Street, where you can find various Tibetan specialties and religious articles like prayer wheels, Tibetan traditional clothes, Tibetan knives and Thangka. Today's sightseeing will end up with a visit to the nearby Nunnery.

Day07 Lhasa - Xian
Pay a visit to a Tibetan Family in the morning. The hospitable hosts will welcome you with the local buttered tea and introduce their family and Tibetan customs to you. Then we will transfer you to the airport for you to take a flight to Xian. Again, your guide will wait for you at the airport and assist you to check in at the hotel.

The Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum is a must when visiting Xian. In the Museum, visitors will not only appreciate the amazing warrior figures, but also enjoy the display of Chinese ancient weapons, which exemplify the wisdom of the laboring people living in Qin Dynasty. We leave lunch on your own arrangement and you can get suggestion from your guide.

This afternoon, you will visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the Provincial History Museum. Big Wild Goose Pagoda was built in Tang Dynasty for storing the sutras and statues of Buddha brought from India by Monk Xuan Zang. Now it has been one of the ancient landmarks of Xian City. Not far away from the pagoda, you will get to the Provincial History Museum, where you can find a lot of treasures really worth of admiring.

Day09 Xian - Guilin
The morning excursion will take you to visit the well-preserved ancient City Wall, which boasts as the largest and the most complete city wall in the world. The broad road on the top of the wall provides visitors an ideal place to walk or cycling while enjoying the around outstanding views. Then, we will introduce you to a local family to see the typical Chinese house and know more about the lives of ordinary Chinese people. In addition, you will be invited to taste the home-cooked a la carte lunch (valued at CNY120.00 per person and included in our price) in the home of the family. After lunch, we will drive you the airport for an afternoon flight to Guilin. You will be met by another professional guide and transferred to check in the hotel.

Day10 Guilin

We are scheduled to visit the Reed Flute Cave, Seven Star Park and the Elephant Trunk Hill today. Driving westwards for about six kilometers in the northwest suburb of Guilin, you will see a very absorbing tourist resort named Reed Flute Cave. The cave boasts abundant karst formations, such as stone columns, stalactites and stalagmites. The next stop, Seven Star Park is the largest comprehensive park in Guilin with a great deal of scenery. Splendid mountains, clear water, a weird stone forest and serene valley make the whole park uniquely charming. Elephant Trunk Hill is a good place for enjoying the cool in summer and appreciating the river scenery. If you are interested, you can climb the hill to appreciate the Li River view from the top.

Day11 Guilin - Yangshuo
Cruise along the Li River is a delightful experience for travelers who want to explore the natural beauty of the northeastern Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. This morning, we will transfer you to the pier to take a cruise tour from Guilin down to Yangshuo. The picturesque landscape along the way is indeed a feast to the eye. When you arrive at Yangshuo at around 14:00, we will transfer you to the hotel for checking in and then drive you to the countryside to enjoy the natural rural sceneries. A brief visit to a local farmer's house is specially arranged for you on the way.

Tips: Here we would like to remind you the lunch on the cruise is not that good. It is the simple lunch box provided by the cruise company. We can only say it is edible but far from delicious. We suggest you have a big breakfast at the hotel this morning.

Day12 Yangshuo - Guilin - Chongqing
Li River cruise
After breakfast, the guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel lobby and escort you to Guilin Airport for a morning flight to Chongqing. Our local guide will meet you at the airport and then transfer you to have lunch in a downtown area restaurant. Before boarding the cruise ship, we arrange a visit to Ciqikou Village. On the both sides of the street stand antique houses and shops that sell various artworks like embroidery, Chinese calligraphy and paintings as well as local snacks. Afterwards, get on board the ship and start your Yangtze River cruise journey at around 22:00.

Day13 Shibaozhai or Fengdu Ghost City
Today, people who take Gold Cruises will disembark and take a unique onshore excursion to the Fengdu Ghost City in the morning. The Ghost City is built in a beautiful mountain and it is the fictive sense of underground world after people's death based on traditional myths and legends. The rest of the time is free for you to wander around on the deck and enjoy the charming scenery along the river. By taking the President No.6 cruise ship, you will have fee time in the morning and take an excursion to Shibaozhai at about 14:00. Then get back to the ship and prepare for the following Captain's Welcome Party held at 20:00 this evening.

Day14 Shennong Stream or Three Little Gorges
Three Little Gorges
The Three Gorges is the most imposing section of the thousands kilometers long Yangtze River. It is composed of the magnificent Qutang Gorge, the elegant Wu Gorge and the dangerous Xiling Gorge. The ship will pass through these three gorges in sequence. During the trip, you will have an interesting adventure to Three Little Gorges by changing to a smaller boat. If you take President Cruise, you will experience an exciting boat ride along the Shennong Stream instead of the Three Little Gorges. After that, the sailing will be continued and the ship will dock at Sandouping village for an overnight stay.

Day15 Yichang - Shanghai
The last excursion arranged by the cruise ship is to see the Three Gorges Dam. It is the largest hydropower project in the world, showing visitors the culture of engineering and water conservancy. Standing on the top of the Tanziling, tourists will have a panoramic view of the dam. After the visit, you will return back to the ship and check out upon arriving in Yichang. We will transfer you to downtown for lunch and visit the Yichang Museum if time permits. Then board a flight to Shanghai and check in at the hotel with our guide's assistance.

Day16 Shanghai
Shanghai Bund area
Your private Shanghai tour will be started at Shanghai Museum, where you can learn more about the civilized culture of ancient China. Then move on to the Yuyuan Garden. It is one of the best preserved Chinese gardens in Shanghai. Its pavilions, rockeries, pools, and flowers make it a place of peace and leisure in bustling city.

After enjoying an a la carte farewell lunch (valued at CNY150.00 per person and included in our price) at a highly-reputed local restaurant, you will go to the Bund area and take a one-hour cruise tour down the Huangpu River. It is a good way to visit Shanghai and experience the old Shanghai flavor. The western historical buildings along the two banks are splendid view for visitors. Our guide will leave you some free time to stroll around the Bund area leisurely after cruise and then take you to visit an old street - Tianzifang before driving back to the hotel.

Day17 Departure from Shanghai
