Beijing East Railway Station

Beijing East Railway Station is about 11 kilometers (6.8 miles) from Tiananmen Square in the city center, 9 kilometers (5.6 miles) from Beijing Railway Station, 16 kilometers (9.9 miles) from South Railway Station, 20 kilometers (12 miles) from West Railway Station, 55 kilometers (34 miles) from Daxing International Airport and 26 kilometers (16 miles) from Capital International Airport.

This is a small station with only a one-storey terminal building. There are two small ticket windows for passengers to purchase, refund or change tickets. Two public toilets are opposite the East Station.

 Note: This small station is not easy to be found. If possible, find a local to direct you there.

As a station of Beijing Suburban Railway Line Sub-center (also Beijing Suburban Railway S1), Beijing East Railway Station operates trains to and from Liangxiang, Beijing West, Beijing, Tongzhou and Qiaozhuang East.

How to get to Beijing East Train Station from downtown area?

 Arrival by subway: line 1 and line 14
Passengers can take subway line 1 or line 14 to Dawanglu first, and then walk southward along West Dawang Rd. for 900 meters (984 yards) to the East Train Station. Along West Dawang Rd. you can see Bawangfen Bus Station, East Train Station is on its east. 

 Arrival by bus:
At West Baiziwan Bridge Bus Stop: 31, 138, Zhuan 87
At East Bawangfen Bus Stop: 382, 54, 58, 605, 666, 667, 668, K815, 817, 988, Zhuan 141, Night Lint 1, 27, 34

Passengers will be dropped off at the front square of East Station in most cases.

How to get to nearby places from Beijing East Train Station?

 Beijing Railway Station:
Take subway line 1 at Dawanglu to Jianguomen, and then transfer to subway line 2 to get there. The duration is approximately 36 minutes and the ticket fare is CNY3 or so.

 South Railway Station
Take subway line 14 at Dawanglu to get to the South Station. It may take about 52 minutes and cost CNY5.

 West Railway Station
Take subway line 7 at Dajiaoting to the West Station. The duration is about 58 minutes and the ticket fare is CNY5.

 Capital International Airport
Take subway line 1 at Dawanglu Subway Station to Guomao, transfer to line 10 and get off at Sanyuanqiao. Then, take the Airport Express Line to the airport.

 Daxing International Airport
Take subway line 7 at Dajiaoting to Shuangjing, transfer to line 10 to Caoqiao, then take the Daxing Airport Express Line to the airport.
 

New Beijing East Railway Station

Built on the site of the original Tongzhou Railway Station, the New Beijing East Railway Station, now called Beijing Sub-Center Railway Station, is the starting point of the Beijing – Tangshan Intercity High Speed Railway and the transportation hub of the inter-city railway which will connect Capital International Airport and Daxing Airport. It will be put into use at the end of 2025.
