Running Route of Bullet Trains Between Hong Kong and Tianjin

 Hong Kong - Shenzhen - Guangzhou High Speed Railway:
This railway is over 140 kilometers (87 miles) long, linking 7 stations including Guangzhou South, Qinsheng, Humen, Guangmingcheng Shenzhen North, Futian and Hong Kong West Kowloon. About one hour will be spent on this part.

 Guangzhou - Beijing High Speed Railway:
This railway is called the longest high speed railway in the world which is about 2,300 kilometers (1,430 miles) long, passing through 36 railway stations including Beijing West, Zhengzhou East, Wuhan, Changsha South, Zhuzhou West, Guangzhou North and Guangzhou South etc. Around 8 hours will be spent on this part.

 Beijing - Tianjin High Speed Railway:
This railway pass 5 stations: Beijing South, Yizhuang, Yongle, Wuqing and Tianjin. And this part will take about 30 minutes.
 

Other Transportation Option: Hong Kong - Tianjin Flight

Currently, there are about 1-2 pairs of nonstop flights flying between Hong Kong and Tianjin. The whole journey takes about 3.5 hours and the ticket fare for an economy class seat is around CNY 1,500 - 2,000 (USD 210 - 280). 

Though having a higher price than bullet trains, flights are still attractive for their short duration. Those who have limited time and enough budget are advised to take flights.

Will the train goes to Beijing finally or is Tianjin the final stop?
If it will goes to Beijing, can we extend our ticket to Beijing on the train?

For the train G306, Tianjin West is its final stop. It will not goes to Beijing. You can buy book another ticket on other trains from Tianjin West to Beijing. Or you can consider the train G80 instead which goes to Beijing directly.

The trains from Beijing South to Tanggu disappeared?
I want to go to Tanggu directly but I noticed that these trains are not on the list anymore. There are only Tianjin Station option. If there any other ways from Beijing South to Tanggu after my arrival from HK?

Due to the schedule adjustment, these rides are temporarily are available. However, they should back to service again later. You can check the schedule again later in the following days. It is advisable to prepare around 30min between the two trips if with paper tickets in hand.

How long would it take to transfer from Beijing West Station to Beijing South Station?
Is one hour enough as it mentioned only 25min by metro?

If you will reach Beijing West by G80 at 5pm, it would be better if you prepare longer time between. The metro did take about 25min on the way, but it may take you some time to line up and buy a ticket etc. The metro in Beijing could be crowded around 5pm. By taxi, there could be a chance of traffic problem too. Therefore, maybe 1.5 hour would be safer. Also, do collect the paper tickets out for all trips in advance in HK. Otherwise, even 1.5 hours is not enough.
