Nanning - Zhangjiajie Train
There is one pair of high speed trains that serve between Nanning Railway Station and Zhangjiajie Railway Station, for a distance of about 936 kilometers (581 miles). Their durations is 10-10.5 hours. A second class seat ticket is the cheapest, costing CNY 471.5-475.5.

Tickets to Zhangjiajie are always under great demand for it is one of the most popular destinations in China with beautiful natural scenery. In spite of the great demand, only two pairs of trains shuttle between Nanning and Zhangjiajie. Therefore, passengers may find it hard to get a ticket, especially in peak travel seasons. If it happens, you can consider take a high speed train to Changsha first, and then change to a normal train or a long distance bus to Zhangjiajie.
Tips: In Changsha, passengers need to travel between two stations. Metro Line 2 and bus 135, 148, 348, and 917 are available. It takes about half an hour by metro, and about one hour by bus. Passengers are advised to set aside two hours for the connection.
There is no direct flight between Nanning and Zhangjiajie, so visitors need to take a flight from Nanning to Changsha first and then catch a train or a bus to Zhangjiajie. Considering the time to airports and the higher ticket price compared with trains, flights seem not a good transportation option. However, when in low travel season, airlines promote tickets at very low price. In this case, passengers can consider taking a flight to enjoy a comparatively comfortable journey.

If you can hold a forth passports, we can buy 4 tickets for you. However, there is still a possibility that the train staff will sale the bed again to other passengers who want to make an upgrade if they find out the bed is empty.
