Nanjing Train Station consists of a South Terminal, a South Square, a North Terminal and a North Square.

 South Terminal
 1F: ticket office, luggage consignment office, left luggage office, business class lounge
 2F: waiting rooms No. 1 to No. 4, waiting rooms for army men and mothers with infants as well as passengers in need, "158' service office, left luggage, children playing area
 3F: waiting rooms No. 5 and No. 6
Toilets, drinking water, small shops & restaurants are available on both 2F and 3F.

 North Terminal
The North Terminal mainly serves high speed trains.
 1F: ticket office, ticket checking gates A1 & B1, waiting area, luggage lockers
 2F: ticket checking gate A2 & B2, waiting area, left luggage office, "158" service office
 B1: transfer hall between station terminal, metro and coach station
Toilets, drinking water, small shops & restaurants can be found on both 1F and 2F.

The South and North Terminals are connected with each other by an elevated passage. In addition, both of the terminals are connected with the platforms and passengers can enter the station from either side.

 South Square: city bus stops, metro entrance/exit No. 1 and No. 4 of Line 1, underground parking lots

There are two bus stops on South Square.
West of South Square Bus Stop: No. 13, 33, 303, 558, 56, D3, D51, Night Bus Y13, Y26 and Y3
East of South Square Bus Stop: No. 17, 190, 309, 59, 71, 97, Night Bus Y23, Y34 and Y8

 North Square: city bus stops, metro entrance/exit No. 5, 7, 8 and 10 of Line 3, taxi stands on B1, Long-distance Bus Center

There are also two city bus stops on North Square.
West of North Square Bus Stop: No. 105, 538, 555, 64
East of North Square Bus Stop: No. 206, 141, 209, 315, D21

The Long-distance Bus Center serves buses to cities including Changzhou, Huai'an, Kunshan, Xuzhou, Yancheng, and Taizhou.

Platform

  To Confucius Temple (Fuzimiao): Passengers can take metro line 3 to Fuzimiao directly. The duration is about 20 minutes. Taking a taxi would take around 25 to 30 minutes and would cost around CNY30-40.

 To Dr. Sun Yat- sen's Mausoleum & Xiaoling Mausoleum of Ming Dynasty: The two sites are next to each other. Travelers can take metro line 1 to Xinjiekou and then take metro line 2 to Muxu Park. From Muxu Park, passengers can walk to both places.

Travelers can also take bus No. 59 and transfer to 34 at Weiqiao stop to Dr. Sun Yat-sen’s Mausoleum Parking Lot. To Xiaoling Mausoleum by bus, passengers can take bus No. 17/190/59 to Gangzicun, Longpan Road, and then change to bus No. 315 to West Gate of Meihuagu stop. Then you get to the destination.

Taking a taxi, it would take around 45 minutes and would cost around CNY40-50.

 To South Train Station: Passengers can take metro line 1 or line 3 to get there. The metro would take about 30 minutes. By taxi, the duration would also be around 30 minutes and the cost would be CNY40.

 To Lukou International Airport: Passengers can take airport shuttle bus line 1 to get to the airport. The shuttle bus starts from 04:30 and ends at 21:00 from railway station. The ticket price is CNY 25 per person. The bus duration is around 1h12m.

Passengers can also take metro line 1 or line 3 to South Railway Station first and then change to metro S1 Line (Airport Express Line) to reach the airport. The metro would take around 80 to 90 minutes on the way.

Taking a taxi would cost around CNY150 and the duration should be around 50 to 60 minutes without traffic problem.

 Waiting Area:
For South Terminal, waiting rooms No. 1, No. 3, waiting rooms for army men, for mothers with infants can be found at the east side of 2F. Waiting rooms No. 2 and No. 4 can be found at the west side of 2F. On the third floor, waiting room No. 5 is at the east side No. 6 is at the west side.

For North Terminal, the waiting area is set up on both 1F and 2F, around the 4 ticket checking gates.

 "158" Service Office:  
They are set up on both north and south terminal which provide free medicine, wheelchairs for the disabled, guidance service, inquiry service and so on.

 Left Luggage:  
Left luggage office can be found on 1F and 2F in South Terminal as well as 2F in North Terminal. Some luggage lockers can also be found on 1F in North Terminal. The cost of luggage storage depends on the luggage size.
