Chongqing West Railway Station

Chongqing West Railway Station is the second largest railway station in the city. This station is about 15 kilometers (9.3 miles) from Chongqing Railway Station, 20 kilometers (12.4 miles) from North Railway Station, 29 kilometers (18 miles) from the East Railway Station, and 35 kilometers (21.7 miles) from Jiangbei International Airport.

Chongqing West Railway Station is built to serve Chongqing - Guiyang, and Lanzhou - Chongqing Railways, as well as Chengdu - Chongqing, and Chongqing - Kunming High Speed Railways. Bullet trains to/from Beijing, Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Xi'an, Shenzhen, Chengdu, etc. and normal ones to/from Xiamen, Kunming, Hohhot, Urumqi and more are operated here.

Entrance

West Station has a five-storey terminal building with an area of 119,600 square meters (29.5 acres) and a front square. The overall model of the station presents the concept of City of Heroes. The giant glass window in the east is like an open eye, nicknamed the "Eye of the West Station", indicating that Chongqing West Railway Station is a new window to the world.

Located on the second floor, the waiting hall sizes 71,270 square meters (17.6 acres). It adopts independent air conditioning system to control the temperature and humidity, making passengers feel comfortable anytime. Intelligent lighting control system is also applied for saving energy, which means that the lighting will automatically adjust to proper light intensity based on passenger flow.

Passengers can get off at Chongqing West metro station by either line.

 Arrival by bus:
At Panshantaoyuan bus stop: 203, 222, 843, 891
At Huayanzhan bus stop: 268, 425, 499, 843, 891

Bus stops are set up on the front square. To leave the station, passengers can go to the -1F to take buses.

 Arrival by taxi:
Passengers arriving by taxi will be dropped off at the drop-off area at north or south side. To leave the station, passengers can find taxi stands on -2F.

Transfer to Metro Line 6

Waiting Hall

 North Railway Station
Take metro circle line to the South Square of the North Station directly in about 1 hour.

 East Railway Station
Take metro line 5 to Dalongshan station, and change metro line 6 to Liujiaping station. After that, go on to take metro line 6 - East Station Branch. 

 Chongqing Railway Station
Take metro line 5 to Shiqiaopu station first and then change to line 1 to Lianglukou metro station. After that, walk about 612 yards (560 meters) to the destination.

 Jiangbei Airport
Take metro line 5 and transfer to line 10 at Central Park West station, which will take you to the airport.
