Chongqing Train Schedule
Chongqing has five important railway stations, Chongqing Railway Station, North Railway Station, West Railway Station, East Railway Station and Shapingba Railway Station.
North Railway Station is also called Longtousi station. It offers both ordinary and fast trains. From there passengers can reach Beijing, Shanghai, Xi'an, Guangzhou, Chengdu, and other large cities directly. West Railway Station, near Huayu Road in Shapingba District, mainly operates high speed trains to/from Beijing, Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Xi'an, Chengdu, etc. and normal ones to Xiamen, Kunming, Hohhot, Urumqi and more. East Railway Station, the largest railway station in the city, operates high speed trains to/from Xi'an, Chengdu, Changsha, Zhangjiajie, Huaihua, etc. Shapingba Railway Station mainly serves high speed trains running from/to Chengdu. A few trains shuttle between this station and Xi'an North Railway Station, Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station and Yinchuan Railway Station. Chongqing Railway Station, located in Yuzhong District, is the oldest station in the city. It is under reconstruction now, and is expected to reopen in 2027.
