 There is no airport in Suzhou, and the nearest airport is in Shanghai. Taking a flight is also a good option to save time. You can take a high speed rail from Suzhou or Suzhou North to Shanghai Hongqiao Station, which only takes about 30 minutes. Then you can walk or take the metro to Shanghai Hongqiao Airport to take a flight to Guangzhou, and the flight duration is about 2.5 - 3 hours. There are many flights available, and the airfare for the full price ticket is CNY 1,400 per ticket including tax. But sometimes, there will be discount tickets available for this route. In this case, flight is a better option than train.
