I was looking at your site for a train from Tanggu to Tianjin train station.
I found train K548 which leave at 10:54am from Tanggu. It goes to Tianjin and I wanted to know if I can take the bullet train to Beijing from the Tianjin station where K548 leaves me? Also, if I purchase train ticket for a certain time and I am not able to make it at the time on the ticket, can I change to a later train?

Yes, you can take a bullet at TJ Railway Station to Beijing. Also, you can change but you must change your ticket at the ticket window of the departure station within 2 hours after the train leaves.

I am sorry that there is no direct train service. You may take a bullet train to Changchun Railway Station (about 5 to 6 hours). Then, take a bus to Erdaobaihe from Huanghe Road Passenger Transport Station near Changchun Railway Station. The buses are scheduled at 8:00 and 17:00, and the trip takes about 7 to 8 hours. The fare is CNY 114. Upon arrival, take a taxi to the mountain for about CNY 60.
