Beijing Chaoyang Railway Station, the starting station of Beijing-Harbin Railway, is about 15 km (9.3 miles) from Beijing city center, 60km (37 miles) from Daxing International Airport, 23 km (14.3 miles) from Capital International Airport, and 20 km (12.4 miles) from Beijing South Railway Station.

 By Subway
Take subway line 1 to Jianguomen, and then transfer to subway line 2 to Dongsi Shitiao station. Interchange to line 3, and you will get to Chaoyang Railway Station.

 By Taxi
If arriving by taxi, passengers need to set the destination as the south entrance or north entrance, then the drop-off point will be right at the entrance.

Facilities at Chaoyang Railway Station

Step 1: Go through the security check, locate your checkpoints.
Step 2: Check channels are open 30 minutes before the departure and close 5 minutes before. Passengers with passports need to use the manual check channel.
Step 3: Find the platform of your train, follow the ticket booking information and get on the right carriage and take your seat.
 

If there are only a few minutes left when you arrive at the station by subway, you can use the express entrance hall on B1. After getting off the subway train, follow the signs and passenger flow to find Entrance 1 on this floor, then you can go through security check and ticket verification and get to the train platform directly without going upstairs to the ground entrance hall.  It takes only 2 - 3 minutes in total.

Washrooms, ticket vending machines and watering place can be found in the hall.
 

Follow the signs after getting off the train to exit. Head to the transportation hub and find the subway station on B2 of the hub to take line 3.

Follow the bilingual signs to East Square Exit or walk to F1 of transportation hub to take the bus.

The online car hailing is available on the south parking lot of B1, B2 of transportation hub, and east of the East Square, while the taxi stands are on south of B1, near to Exit 1, and the north of transportation hub hall, close to Exit 2.
 

 Tian’anmen Square
Take subway line 3 → Transfer to line 2 at Dongsi Shitiao station → Transfer to line 1 at Jianguomen station → Get off at Tiananmen East. It takes CNY 4 and 39 minutes.

 Summer Palace
Take subway line 3 → Transfer to line 10 at Tuanjiehu station → Transfer to line 4 at Haidian Huangzhuang station → Get off at Beigongmen station, Exit D out → Walk about 430 meters (470 yards) to get to the destination. The duration is 1 hour and the fare is CNY 6.

 Badaling Great Wall
Take subway line 3 to Tuanjiehu station → Transfer to line 10 → Get off at Beitucheng station → Take city bus No.919 → Get off at Badaling Safari Park stop → Walk about 970 meters (1,060 yards) to get to the Great Wall. 

Take subway line 3 to get to Tuanjiehu station → Transfer to line 10 → Interchange to line 13 at Zhichun Road station → Get off at Qinghe Railway Station. Take a high speed train there to Badaling Great Wall Railway Station. It takes CNY 24 - 30 and about 2 hours in total.

 Capital International Airport
Take subway line 3 → Interchange to line 10 at Tuanjiehu station to get to Sanyuanqiao station → Take Capital Airport Express to reach the airport. The whole journey takes 63 minutes and costs CNY 29.

 Daxing International Airport
Take subway line 3 → Get to Tuanjiehu station → Transfer to line 10 to reach Caoqiao station → Go on to take Daxing Airport Express → Get off at the airport. The duration is about 1.5 hours and it costs CNY 41 in total.
 

Convenient stores, coffee shops and restaurants are also available for passengers’ need. Besides, 5 barrier-free washing rooms are set for the disabled, 3 in the waiting hall, 1 in the express entrance hall on B1, and 1 in the entrance hall on F1.
 

There are four integrated service centers in the station that offer services like ticket selling, refunding, inquiries and so on. 
 

Four special areas can be used at the north of the waiting hall for children entertainment, breastfeeding and more. 

There are also two business class waiting rooms in the north and south inside.
