Beijing Fengtai Railway Station
Beijing Fengtai Railway Station, the station with longest history in Beijing which has been reopened since 2022, is 15km (9.3 miles) from Tian’anmen Square, 50km (31 miles) from Capital International Airport and Daxing International Airport. It is the interchange station of Beijing-Shanghai Railway, Beijing-Guangzhou Railway, Beijing-Guangzhou High-speed Railway and Beijing-Hong Kong High-speed Railway.
The main station building, covering an area of 400,000 square meters, has 17 platforms operating both normal-speed trains and high-speed trains.

Ticket checking
Passengers need to go through the security check with their passports before entering the station building. After entering, go up to 2F to the waiting hall and find the checkpoints according to the ticket information.
The checkpoints will be open 30 minutes ahead of the departure time and closed 5 minutes before the departure. Every checkpoint has the self-service check channel and manual check channel. Passengers with passports need to go to the manual check channel.
Boarding
After checking, take the luggage, and the LED screen will show passengers which platform they should go, then get in the right carriage and find seats according to the seat numbers written above the seats.
Leave the Station
The bilingual boards will lead passengers to the exit. The passport will be checked again when exiting. The subway line 10 is on B1 and line 16 on B2. The bus stops are on the ground floor. Just follow the bilingual boards to get there.
Fengtai Railway Station Transportation Hub
The South Transportation Hub has been put into use in February 2025 to faciliate passengers entering and exiting Fengtai Railway Station. If you reach the railway station by subway, you can take escalators or lifts to get to the entrance directly; if by bus, you can walk into the transportation hub and then go through the security check and ticket verification hassle-free without finding the entrance of the station. Passengers can also get to the hub following the signs after getting off the train to take city bus, subways or taxis to leave.
The North Transportation Hub is expected to open at the end of 2025, which will offer tourist bus, online car hailing and more services.
Tian’anmen Square
Take subway line 10 to Gongzhufen, transfer to line 1 to Tian’anmen East, take Exit D and walk westward to the entrance. It takes 34 minutes and CNY5.
Badaling Great Wall
Take subway line 10 to Zhichun Rd., then transfer to line 13 to Qinghe Railway Station, and then take a high-speed train to the Great Wall. The total duration is about 1.5 hours and it costs CNY 26.
Summer Palace
Take subway line 10 to Bagou and transfer to West Suburban Line to West Gate of Summer Palace. Walk northeastward to the entrance. The duration is about one hour and the fare is CNY8.
Capital International Airport
Take subway line 10 to Sanyuanqiao and transfer to Capital Airport Express Line to the airport, taking CNY31 and 1.5 hours.
Daxing International Airport
Take subway line 10 to Caoqiao, then transfer to Daxing Airport Express Line to the airport, taking CNY31 and about 1.5 hours. Or take Daxing Airport Shuttle Bus Shijingshan Line to the airport directly. The shuttle buses depart almost every hour from 7:00 to 18:30 with an interval of one hour. The ticket is CNY30.
Waiting Hall with over 7,000 seats. The waiting areas on the west and east side are for high-speed train passengers, in the middle are for normal speed train passengers. No.1-20 checkpoints are for normal speed trains and 21-32 are for high-speed trains.
Ticket and Integrated Service Center providing wheelchairs, stretchers and medicine cabinets. Passengers can also buy, refund or change their tickets here. If you have any trouble, just ask for help here.
