Outstanding Experience with Wendy Lee from Travel China Guide Tours!

I recently had the pleasure of working with Wendy Lee from Travel China Guide Tours, and I cannot recommend her highly enough! From the very beginning, Wendy was incredibly patient, responsive, and attentive to every detail of my trip. She took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for and tailored the itinerary perfectly to my preferences.

Throughout the planning process and even during the trip itself, Wendy was always available and ready to assist with any questions or needs. Thanks to her meticulous coordination, everything went smoothly—from train and flight schedules to hotel arrangements and local guides. We visited several amazing destinations across China, and every step of the journey was seamless.

All the local guides arranged by Wendy were knowledgeable, friendly, and professional, which made the experience even more enriching. I felt completely supported and cared for throughout the trip.

We have returned from a fantastic tour of Japan. The tour was planned second to none with attention to detail and quality throughout. The 3 day add on at the end caused by cancelled flight was busy and we could easily have spent an extra day in Hiroshima hiking in Miyajima Island also gave you less time to book hotels.To summarize another fantastic tour arranged to perfection.

Difficult to compare our Chinese and the Japanese tours, nevertheless we find thet China comes first.

To future tours wherever in the world you suggest. I believe there are great many options in China but we are open to any suggestions ..

A huge thank you to you Emily for organizing such a perfectly coordinated and memorable trip to China! From start to finish, everything ran like clockwork - flights, trains, transfers, hotels and most importantly, the guided tours in every city we visited.

We truly loved every moment and were especially impressed by the knowledgeable and friendly guides who brought each destination to life. This trip opened our eyes to how incredible China is as a tourist destination-rich in culture, history, modern marvels, and warm hospitality. We've not stopped talking about it since!

My sincere apologies for this late report- it's only because we've continued travelling to other parts of the world. But without a doubt, China remains one of our favorite highlights, all thanks to your fantastic planning and care, Emily.

I'd like to give you our opinion on the guides and drivers who accompanied us last May on our trip to China. All the guides were excellent, but some were exceptional. Both Scarlett in Dali and Clair in Chengdu are of a very high standard. Both are proactive, cheerful, communicative, and speak very good English. Please give them both our congratulations, as they were exceptional. Among the drivers, one also clearly stood out: Jack Lee in Kunming. He was polite, helpful, proactive, and spoke excellent English. Jack could easily serve as both driver and guide, as he combines both qualities. I'd like to take this opportunity to congratulate you on the organization of the trip. Thanks to you, China remains, for us, the most interesting country we've ever visited (and we've visited many countries).

We have been back a couple of weeks (spent some time in Japan after we left China), but just wanted to thank you for all your assistance on setting up most of our time in Xi'an and Beijing. (We were in Shanghai for three days prior as well.) Everything went as planned, the guides were fantastic, and I really appreciated all the correspondence and flexibility as our plans changed. We had the most amazing time! I will not hesitate to recommend you to others who are interested in visiting China.

Our guide Maggie got in touch the day before and we were able to plan the tour together. Maggie and the bus arrived at the hotel on time and she provided us with in-depth information during the journey. In addition to the places Maggie showed and explained, we had time to explore everywhere on our own. She was also happy to fulfil our wishes. All in all, I would describe the tour as very successful. Any time again with Travel China Guide.

We just got back home to Colorado Springs from Shanghai late last night. We spent several days in Suzhou and Shanghai after our Zhangjiajie and Huangshan tours.

We would like to thank you once again for arranging the Zhangjiajie and Huangshan tours. Everything was perfect, from the land tour, rail/airplane tickets to the hotels! LJ and April were such wonderful tour guides! They were very informative, personable and attentive to our needs. Our 7 people tour group are mostly senior citizens ranging from 56 to 76 years old. Everyone was extremely happy with the tours. We highly recommend LJ (Zhangjiajie tour) and April (Huangshan tour). They're both 10/10 and 5 star tour guides!!!

China is a breathtaking country, rich in history, culture, and hospitality. The warmth of its people, the diversity of its cuisine, and the sheer beauty of its landscapes make for an unforgettable experience. From iconic landmarks to hidden gems, every destination was a feast for the senses.

The tour itself was impeccably organized, ensuring a seamless and enriching journey. The guides were not only highly skilled professionals but also passionate storytellers, bringing each location to life with their knowledge and enthusiasm. Their expertise and attention to detail made the trip both enjoyable and insightful. Truly a world-class experience!

Communication with tour consultant Emily was good. Guide Connie in Chengdu was excellent, Kitty in Beijing and Celine in Xi'an were good and David in Shanghai was mediocre. Most drivers were good but the one in Beijing wasn't great. Program was comprehensive though I wasn't interested in museums in Chengdu or Shanghai. Can't say any of the included lunches or dinners were to my taste. Hotels were of a good standard (Chengdu less than the others) and well located.

I just wanted to extend our heartfelt thanks for the wonderful job you did in planning our recent trip to China.. We had an absolutely fantastic time, and everything went smoothly from start to finish.

The trip was organized with the utmost care, and every detail was thoughtfully arranged. A special thank you to Emily for all her help and support throughout—we really appreciated her being in constant touch and making sure everything was on track.

We had a fantastic time in Japan in late March. Wendy from Travel China Guide delivered exactly what was promised—no complaints whatsoever.. In fact, as usual, they exceeded our expectations.

This ten-day trip to Japan was our third memorable vacation organized by Travel China Guide. Our guide and driver, Bradley, was particularly outstanding—extremely knowledgeable, attentive, and a very careful driver. He took excellent care of us from the moment we arrived at the airport until he dropped us off for our departure.

We used ChinaTourGuide for a 11-day tour of Beijing, Xi'an, Zhangjiajie and Shanghai. TravelChinaGuide was very organized arranging transportation from the airports to the hotels and providing the air connections between the cities. They stayed in touch with us via phone, text or email throughout. The tour guides in each location were very good on the tours and were helpful for non-tour stuff as well. We had a very nice trip and a good time.

What an amazing tour company. It was well structured and very organized from the beginning to end. We visited Beijing, Xi’an and Shanghai. Our tour guide at each destination was already waiting for us by the time we got out. They were flexible with our needs. We added more places to see at the last minute and they were able to arrange it for us. All the places they suggested were worth seeing. The transportation at each place was spacious. Everything was very well organized, tailored exactly according to our wishes. We visited 3 cities in 9 days with guides and the drivers who were very professional in every moment. We especially liked Carol's tour in Xian.
