The Malaysia tour is a solid 4. The Cambodia tour is a unique 5. The surprise encounters, such as the Welcome Dinner and Cooking Class, are especially impressive.

We wanted to send you a big Thank you from our side for the outstanding travel we had with Agate Travel the last weeks to Laos and Thailand. Than you ver much for the very well organised private tour, the internerary and the selection of hotels. The tour-guides in Thailand and Laos have been outstanding and their way to show us their country and culture were great. Also the drivers have been very good and always gave us a feeling of safety. We had a fantastic time in Japan in late March. Wendy from Travel China Guide delivered exactly what was promised—no complaints whatsoever.. In fact, as usual, they exceeded our expectations. This ten-day trip to Japan was our third memorable vacation organized by Travel China Guide. Our guide and driver, Bradley, was particularly outstanding—extremely knowledgeable, attentive, and a very careful driver. He took excellent care of us from the moment we arrived at the airport until he dropped us off for our departure. We’re already thinking about our next vacation with Travel China Guide!

Absolutely outstanding tour. All guides except one were exceptional. The other was good. The guides were knowledgeable, helpful, and flexible. Having drivers really facilitates the trip. Having personal guides and drivers for just the two of us is the way to travel. Agate Travel kept up with what was always happening. The hotels were nice. All the people that we met were very friendly and welcoming. My wife is legally blind and has limited mobility. I must eat gluten free and dairy free. Options were always available for us. The only problem with the trip is that it was supposed to be dry season, but it rained all but two days. We had rain gear and were able to keep going. Based upon our experience we recommend Agate Travel trips. Five stars.

Overall, we had a good experience. We would have loved to see a little more of the city of Beijing instead of just seeing the major attractions. Our guide in Beijing is very friendly. It would help if she spoke a bit louder.
Celine and Bella were very informative and helpful who arranged for someone to pick up all our luggage while at the train station. Of course we didn’t mind paying extra for the service. It could be hectic for 4 seniors fighting for a place to store our luggage. We received priority boarding. We were happy with all of our drivers, Mr Han. Mr Tung and Mr Chan. Although not all meals were included, we love the flexibility to make our own choices. We would definitely travel with you again and recommend to friends and relatives.

For Europeans in general and for Spaniards in particular China is a most fascinating country. There is so much to visit and to know! This was, of course, a limited tour, but it included the capital, Beijing, and three important cities: Xi'an, Guilin and Tianjin. In all of them there are important historical and touristic sites to visit. I am sure there other cities in China which are also important, Shanghai among others, but the four cities we visited this time are second to none. In Guilin, the Lee River Tour is a must. In Xi'an, the terracota warriers' Museum. And Tianjin has aldo important things to see. We were very pleased with the vicit to the TV Tower, which gives an impressive perspective. The British quartier and its Stadium are also very worthwhile to see. In Beijing the Forbidden City, the Summer Palace and the Great Wall are unavoidable. We were very pleased with the support that the China Travel Agency provided. It was effective, efficient and at reasonable prices. An agency like that is essential for independent travellers, as we were.

I had a wonderful time on the TravelChinaGuide tours. We did the half day terracotta warriors tour in XiAn with Lily, Beijing day trip with Rocky, and Guilin-Yangshuo 3 day tour with Monica.

All of our guides were helpful, very knowledgeable, and spoke excellent English. I had a great time and learnt a lot.

In Guilin, the tour company organised great hotels and a driver for us as well. It went very smoothly - no problems at all. Would definitely recommend this tour company.
