I had the pleasure of touring the Great Wall and Tiananmen Square with our guide, Helen, and she was absolutely fantastic. Helen was incredibly knowledgeable and provided us with rich background history at every stop. She took the time to explain everything thoroughly, answered all of our questions, and truly brought the sites to life. Despite the extreme heat that day, she never rushed us and made sure we were comfortable and engaged throughout the entire tour. Her kindness, professionalism, and passion for Chinese history made our experience unforgettable. Highly recommend Helen if you want a thoughtful, well-paced, and enriching tour! Collapse

We had a wonderful time with our 9-day private tour of Cairo/Nile cruise provided by China Travel Guide. This is the second time we have picked the same company because of the great satisfaction from last year’s trip to China. For both trips thanks to the company’s senior travel consultant Wendy Lee for her dedication, details, and coordination throughout the entire planning process. Wendy was very responsive and patient to customize the itinerary to meet our desires, including payment options, airport transfer/drop-off, hotel accommodation, cruise selection, and local tour guides/drivers. The total package cost was very reasonable, exceeding the standard itinerary provided by most tour companies. We not only visited both the Giza Grand Egyptian Museum and the Egyptian Museum in Cairo but also had a wonderful camel ride around the pyramids and got inside the Khufu Pyramid to see the burial chamber. Towards the end of Nile Cruise at Aswan, the tour also offered a private shore excursion to Abu Simbel.



In summary, the Egypt trip was a lifetime experience provided by the China Travel Guide. We will highly recommend Wendy to our friends and families for her professionalism and dedication. Collapse

We did a private customised 9 day trip from Xi'An to Luoyang and Beijing, ur guide in Xi'An was Carol. She was such a fantastic guide who was super meticulous with her planning. She paid attention to what we need as we had elderly and young kids as well in the group. She made sure that all our of needs were met. In her introduction of the places we went, plus the time in the bus, she always made the effort to provide us with interesting stories and the history of Xi'An. We learnt alot from her and thoroughly enjoyed our time with her. Fully recommend that you should request for Carol as your guide if you book your Xi'An tour with Travel China Guide. We had Cissy in Luoyang, she was also very attentive and gentle. Was very accomodating to our needs as well as we were getting tired from walking. She tried her best to still explain to us the sights but gave us ample time to rest when needed. We also learnt alot about the history of Luoyang which was new to us. In Beijing we had David as our guide. One can tell that David is an extremely experienced guide. His knowledge is vast. We had pleasant surprise when we rode the rickshaw in Hutong and also visited an actual home. Quite different from your usual touristy stuff. Similarly, due to our group having elderly and kids who got tired easily, David was accomodating to our needs and suggested ways to make our trip easier and more pleasant. Overall, very pleasant experience from the time we booked our tour with Emily Xin who was our consultant. She was always responsive on emails and WeChat. Thank you to each of you. Collapse

Today we visited Leshan Giant Buddha. A unique place! It cannot be described in words! Our tour guide Connie was also great. Professional attitude, knowledge. Answered all our questions (there were many), she also put up with my daughter, who did not leave her alone all day. She was ready to help us at any moment. Kind, responsive, a great person and professional. If you are looking for not only a tour guide, but also a friend, ready to be by your side at any moment, Connie is your person!
