We recently used Lilly for Gullian and surroundings trip and I couldn’t be more impressed. She was incredibly detailed, offering not just the usual tourist spots but also hidden gems that made the experience truly special. The maps were accurate and easy to follow, and the cultural insights helped us connect more deeply with the place. What stood out most was the practical advice—transportation tips, local etiquette, and budget-friendly recommendations were spot-on. Our family recently returned from an unforgettable trip to China, and we couldn’t be more impressed. The entire experience was fantastic from start to finish. We were looked after from the moment we landed in China to the day we departed, with everything perfectly organised. The tour offered great value for money, with fantastic hotels in prime locations in Beijing, Xi’an, and Shanghai comfortable, clean, and close to all the key sights. Our guides were incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure we had a great experience. Transport between cities was seamless and comfortable, making it easy to enjoy each destination without any hassle. The bullet trains and local transfers were all very efficient and well-coordinated. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the rich history of Beijing, the Terracotta Warriors in Xi’an, and the modern vibrancy of Shanghai. A truly memorable family holiday that we would highly recommend!

My son and I had a wonderful trip in China. The tour was well organized and we felt everyone made sure the trip went smoothly. The guides were great and not only educated us but went the extra mile to make our trip stress free and enjoyable. For example, we lost a backpack at the airport in Beijing and Kevin our guide helped us to locate and retrieve the bag at the airport. Kevin knew the history of China extensively. Sunny in Zhangjiajie was very kind and knowledgeable. His warmth and enthusiasm were wonderful. Lilly in Xi’an was very informative. William in Shanghai was very sweet and his knowledge of the city was impressive. Our drivers also were great. In terms of the hotels, all were very nice. The lunches provided by the tour were very good, especially the Peking duck we had in Beijing. Overall our experience in China was fantastic and I look forward to returning back.

It was a fantastic trip for us during our Chongqing and ZJJ tour. We’re very happy with how the tour was arranged to accommodate our request with clear information provided by Wendy. I've agonized over this. How do you attempt to put into words the perfect trip. Everything was just that -- perfection! There was not one part of this trip that could possibly be improved upon. Not one part! The accommodations were beyond anything we could have hoped for or imagined.. Beautiful hotels that were all centrally located to the attractions that we desired to see. Tour guides who were all very knowledgeable of the cities and attractions we visited as well as China itself. All were friendly, courteous and professional even when the tourists (us) were not always easy to deal with. They met both our every need and request especially when it came to my health concerns and diabetes requirements. Absolutely no barriers were encountered when it came to communication. Everyone was more than fluent in English and showed great deference when it came to my hearing difficulties. The drivers in every location showed great knowledge of their area as well as observing safe driving skills. That was much appreciated! Not one thing would we have changed. Lastly, when it comes to our travel consultant, Emily Xin is INCREDIBLE! I had over 25 communications with her throughout the booking process, and she replied to every single one professionally and expediently. She is an asset to Travel China Guide (Xian Marco Polo Tours) and a wonderful example of the professionalism exhibited by all their staff. Thank You so much for the trip of a lifetime! We had a wonderful five-day getaway to Guangzhou, expertly organized by Travel China. The itinerary was well-paced, combining scenic sightseeing, signature local meals, and enjoyable shopping—all delivered with a touch of luxury. Our guide Milton and driver Mr. He were exceptional: always punctual, attentive, and professional. Their care and coordination made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and well-managed travel experience.

We went to Beijing, Pingyao, Xian, and Guilin with Wendy Lee, and would highly recommend them. Advanced English speaking guides that were professional, knowledgeable, and helpful even beyond the call of duty. I tripped and scraped my arm when about to tour the Great Wall. Instead of just letting me wash it off and go, our guide took me to a desk where they had a first aid kit. He put disinfectant and lots of bandaids on it himself (about an 8 inch wound) before proceeding with our tour. I was so grateful. Each driver was safe and had a clean car. They all helped us get to our train/plane as opposed to just dropping us off at the station where we cannot read the signs. When we arrived at the next destination, our next guide was waiting right at the exit to take us on the next leg of our journey. Everything was simple, friendly, and wonderful. They answered all kinds of questions about what we were seeing and their culture so that we had an enjoyable and informative vacation. I would highly recommend Wendy Lee.

The tour was well organized and Wendy was able to make some changes based on my preferences. She always replied to me promptly and when I was in China she was able to answer my questions quickly. Payment was easy. The tour guides in every city were all excellent as well as the drivers. One of the trips with train involved hard sleeper train which I didn’t enjoy as soft sleeper train was not available. Otherwise we had a blast

From the arrangement of the tour with Emily to the guides who were allocated to us, everything was seamless and the agency is exteremely accomodating to our needs as we have elderly and young kids with us in the group. At the same time, the guides were knowledgable and gave us many insights and knowledge of the history of each location/ sight-seeing location that we went. Our trip was a 9-day Xi'An, Luoyang & Beijing tour. We were glad that we got to see many amazing places and learnt so much about them. I would personally recommend contacting Travel China Guide for your local tour needs. We had Carol as the guide in Xi'An, Cissy in Luoyang and David in Beijing. All in their own respective city had extensive knowledge about the history and places that we went.

We had a great experience and excellent services. Everything happened as planed and promised. The guides where very kind and provide important information about the sites demonstrating great knowledge of the history and fantastic visits logistic, saving time and avoiding the crowd. Definitively recommend Travel China Guide for any foreign traveler to China.

We have returned from a fantastic tour of Japan. The tour was planned second to none with attention to detail and quality throughout. The 3 day add on at the end caused by cancelled flight was busy and we could easily have spent an extra day in Hiroshima hiking in Miyajima Island also gave you less time to book hotels.To summarize another fantastic tour arranged to perfection. Difficult to compare our Chinese and the Japanese tours, nevertheless we find thet China comes first. To future tours wherever in the world you suggest. I believe there are great many options in China but we are open to any suggestions ..

We have been back a couple of weeks (spent some time in Japan after we left China), but just wanted to thank you for all your assistance on setting up most of our time in Xi'an and Beijing. (We were in Shanghai for three days prior as well.) Everything went as planned, the guides were fantastic, and I really appreciated all the correspondence and flexibility as our plans changed. I'd like to give you our opinion on the guides and drivers who accompanied us last May on our trip to China. All the guides were excellent, but some were exceptional. Both Scarlett in Dali and Clair in Chengdu are of a very high standard. Both are proactive, cheerful, communicative, and speak very good English. Please give them both our congratulations, as they were exceptional. Among the drivers, one also clearly stood out: Jack Lee in Kunming. He was polite, helpful, proactive, and spoke excellent English. Jack could easily serve as both driver and guide, as he combines both qualities. I'd like to take this opportunity to congratulate you on the organization of the trip. Thanks to you, China remains, for us, the most interesting country we've ever visited (and we've visited many countries).

A huge thank you to you Emily for organizing such a perfectly coordinated and memorable trip to China! From start to finish, everything ran like clockwork - flights, trains, transfers, hotels and most importantly, the guided tours in every city we visited. Our guide Maggie got in touch the day before and we were able to plan the tour together. Maggie and the bus arrived at the hotel on time and she provided us with in-depth information during the journey. In addition to the places Maggie showed and explained, we had time to explore everywhere on our own. She was also happy to fulfil our wishes. All in all, I would describe the tour as very successful. We just got back home to Colorado Springs from Shanghai late last night. We spent several days in Suzhou and Shanghai after our Zhangjiajie and Huangshan tours. We would like to thank you once again for arranging the Zhangjiajie and Huangshan tours. Everything was perfect, from the land tour, rail/airplane tickets to the hotels! LJ and April were such wonderful tour guides! They were very informative, personable and attentive to our needs. Our 7 people tour group are mostly senior citizens ranging from 56 to 76 years old. Everyone was extremely happy with the tours. We highly recommend LJ (Zhangjiajie tour) and April (Huangshan tour). They're both 10/10 and 5 star tour guides!!! Communication with tour consultant Emily was good. Guide Connie in Chengdu was excellent, Kitty in Beijing and Celine in Xi'an were good and David in Shanghai was mediocre. Most drivers were good but the one in Beijing wasn't great. Program was comprehensive though I wasn't interested in museums in Chengdu or Shanghai. Can't say any of the included lunches or dinners were to my taste. Hotels were of a good standard (Chengdu less than the others) and well located.

I just wanted to extend our heartfelt thanks for the wonderful job you did in planning our recent trip to China.. We had an absolutely fantastic time, and everything went smoothly from start to finish. The trip was organized with the utmost care, and every detail was thoughtfully arranged.
