Our trip to China was absolutely amazing! This is the second time we’ve used this agency, and everything was perfect—just as it was on our first trip. The local guides were exceptional: knowledgeable, friendly, fluent in English, and always in tune with exactly what we wanted to see and do. The hotels were very comfortable and centrally located, making each day’s logistics smooth and efficient.

All of our transportation—whether by van or plane—was extremely well organized, and we never encountered a single issue. The food was delicious everywhere we went, and the country itself is truly stunning, from its landscapes to its culture and history.

We are especially grateful to Emily for the wonderful support she provided throughout the entire process. Her attention to detail and care made our trip even more memorable.

We appreciated Emily’s speedy response and her suggestions and flexibility to finalize our private tour itinerary. The service provided by our tour was impeccable which included the pickup from each city, the professional tour guides, and the drop off at each of the cities whereby the person made sure we were checked in for our transportation to the next city and that we had all the needed information for boarding. The tour guides made this trip much more memorable with their knowledge of the visited site, advised us where to go for the best view, and shared their strategies to try to avoid the bigger crowds. We appreciated that the tour guide was able to make arrangements to accommodate a very last minute activity change due to better weather conditions. Travel China Guide organized our individual 16-day trip to China on the route Beijing - Shanghai - Luoyang - Shaolin - Xi'an - Chongqing - Zhangjiajie - Guilin - Yangshuo - Hong Kong. We were 4 women and relied entirely on Emily Xin's professional experience to draw up the itinerary, purchase train tickets between the cities, tours and book hotels. Emily was always available and answered all our questions extremely quickly and accurately, gave very accurate instructions and information. Special thanks to Emily, as she made our trip a reality and a dream come true. Thank you Emily! The hotels were wonderful (4 stars) with nice breakfasts, suitable for Europeans; the cars were new, comfortable and clean, water was provided, and the drivers were smiling and polite. I would like to specially thank to all ours guides - Selina, Bonnie, Kelly, Tracy, Yolin and Kim, who were with us and made our stay in China charming. They are incredible professionals and we congratulate them warmly and heartily! We were really fortunate to have Emily Xin serving as our travel consultant in the planning of our 7-day private Chengdu-Chongqing tour completed recently. As per our wishes, she arranged all things for our group of 7 adults without a hitch, including must-visit destinations, admission tickets, hotels, suitable tour guides, bullet train tickets, etc. Her strong diligence, responsiveness, knowledge, advice, and ability to serve cheerfully directly contributed to our successful tour planning. My family of 3 travelled through china for a month from shanghai, beijing, xi'an, chengdu, zhangjiajie, and guangzhou including a short cruise seeing the three gorges dam.
From start to finish, we were very impressed. The tour guides spoke great english and two guides very good cantonese. We saw all the sites without feeling too rushed, except for parts of Beijing--but that was due to Golden week coming up. The accomodations were excellent for 3-star options, nearly every one was in a walkable part of the city.

We just returned from a 5 day custom trip to China, visiting Beijing and Xi’an, and it was an unforgettable experience thanks to an outstanding team of guides, drivers, and coordinators.

From the very beginning, Wendy Lee, our overall travel coordinator, made the experience seamless. Her communication while creating our custom itinerary was excellent — she was responsive, attentive to our preferences, and ensured every detail of the trip was tailored perfectly to our needs.

In Beijing, we were incredibly fortunate to have Fen, our phenomenal driver. She was always early, greeted us each morning with a warm smile, and navigated the busy city streets with calm precision. Her professionalism, kindness, and cheerful presence added so much comfort and enjoyment to our time in Beijing.

We also had two wonderful guides — Li Wen Quan and Tom — who made the city’s rich history come alive.
   •   Li Wen Quan led us through the Great Wall and the Summer Palace, sharing fascinating stories and insights that deepened our appreciation for both sites.
   •   Tom guided us through Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and the Temple of Heaven, blending deep historical knowledge with an engaging, personable style that made the day both educational and fun.

In Xi’an, our guide Rita was equally outstanding. She managed to fit so much into one amazing day — from the awe-inspiring Terracotta Warriors to a walk along the Xi’an City Wall and the bustling Muslim Street. Her passion for history and enthusiasm made the entire day flow beautifully and left us with incredible
memories.

This was our second private tour with TravelChina, the first was in China during 2018 and the second we’ve just completed this October 2025, which was in India, the golden triangle. I really cannot find a fault with our private guided tour. We were four and none of us had been to India previously. Our tour began when we were met at Delhi airport by the TravelChina representative and our driver, Anand Sharma, who took us to our first hotel. We had the remainder of that day to relax and do our own thing. Each of our hotels were 4 stars, Crown Plaza’s and Holiday Inns. Each of them were perfectly clean and offered some wonderful food. Our tour included sites in Delhi, Agra and Jaipur and each city had a separate tour guide. Anand, our driver throughout the tour, who spoke good English, had a very spacious mini bus with essential air conditioning, a good supply of chilled water and snacks. There was plenty of seating for the 4 of us and a guide, it was very comfortable. We had 3 guides who were interesting, considerate and with whom we had some good fun. They were all very knowledgeable and each of them were able to communicate to us the history, the occupants and the purpose of the architecture or construction that we were viewing. So it is a big ‘thank you’ from the four of us to Mahip who gave us a wonderful time in Delhi, amazing sites with a lot for us to think about, thanks for everything Mahip. At Agra we met our guide Masood, Agra has the Taj Mahal an incredible historic building. Masood was able to tell us all about it’s history as we watched the sunrise and then introduced us to a more recent historical object ‘Diana’s Bench’. Thanks for the photographs Masood, they were magnificent. In Jaipur we met our next guide Samee, who amongst other sites, took us to the Amber Fort. It’s not to be missed and of course Samee was able to to tell us all about the history behind it, fascinating. It started raining but it didn’t stop us from seeing Jantar Mantar a superb working observatory. We just hope that you got home OK that evening Samee, it was raining very hard.

Anand our driver was essential to the tour. He was with us from day one and had to deal with the driving and the traffic in the cities we visited. He’s a very patient man. He was also very punctual and dealt with all our needs whilst he was with us. In particular at the end of our tour he took us to the hotel we had booked for that night before we flew out of Delhi the following morning. However, we didn’t stay at this hotel so Anand helped us book another hotel and then drove us through Delhi to our new accommodation. Thank you for that Anand it was very much appreciated. I would not hesitate to use TravelChina again, they were always approachable and replied to my emails by the following morning. Excellent, I would certainly not hesitate to use TravelChina again for a private tour.

Our Travel China Guide 15 day tour of Beijing, Xi’an, Chengdu, Guilin, Zhangjiajie and Shanghai was absolutely amazing! The locations were all incredible and the entire tour was perfectly organised. The communication from our initial inquiries, booking, imparting information, answering our questions and replying to emails was excellent and always prompt. The service from the guides (especially Celine in Xi’an) and drivers was fantastic. This tour surpassed our expectations and we would highly recommend Travel China Guide Tours.

My trip through Travel China Guide was excellent. How refreshing it was- not to have to worry about details: transportation to a venue, where to eat, hotel selection and checking in, and city to city transfers. All of these details were handled by the Travel China Guide Tour Guides and Coordinators. In addition, the restaurant selection and hotel selections were excellent. Lastly, I enjoyed the tour guides insight about each of the cities, their people, and the significance of the cultural event or their historical relevance. Thank you Travel China Guide Tours for a memorable vacation.

We had an awesome trip. The tour loop around Poland was perfect for our group of 4. Having some issues with walking distances we chose this tour so that we could move at a slower pace. This worked great for the private tours. However, 3 of our group could not do the Salt Mine since it required 800 stair steps. This was not explained ahead of time or we would've only purchased 1 ticket. The Salt Mine does have a handicap accessible tour so we wish that had been scheduled for our group. Likewise, the Auschwitz tour was a group tour and 3 of our group could not go in the buildings, nor was the tour guide willing to slow down for them. Also, our itinerary stated the group would be approx 15 people which is not true. We had over 30 people in our group and there were so many groups scheduled that we were continually waiting in long lines to get in and out of the exhibit buildings.

The rest of the trip was absolutely enjoyable! The hotels were very nice, had wonderful breakfasts that filled us for the day, and were located in areas that allowed us to walk to restaurants and experience the towns after the driver dropped us off for the day. The private tour guides were great and came up with flexible ways to include those in our group with limited walking capability. Our drivers in Gdansk (Omnibus Tourist - Andrew) and Krakow (Spectrips - Sebastian) were great. Sebastian was actually our tour guide to Zakopane and around the city. He gave us insight to everyday life and we were ready for that after hearing about the history of Poland for several days.

What would I do different next time? I would add an extra night in each of the cities so we would still have the same tours but extra time to explore on our own.
